We have provided benefits to over 1,000 students to finish high schools and/or to continue the education in colleges by providing financial assistance for college tuitions.
We have a girl (BP) who graduated from the high school we built and funded with science studies and obtained Bachelor of Science, Master of Science, and Bachelor of Education degrees. She currently teaches Mathematics and Chemistry in our High School. She is looking to get a Ph. D. in Chemistry next.
We have another girl (SR) who helped her mother for various household work for village people doing dishes, washing and cleaning while attending our high school. She and her mother lived in a little rag tent on the outskirt of our village. She was the top of her class for 10th and 12th the board
examination with science studies. She went to college and obtained her Bachelor of Science in Chemistry. She is smart and teaches our science students. Her performance is the best as a science teacher in our school. We will fund her for graduate school for her two years study of Master of Science. this year.
A girl (SP) who finished her 10th grade and was a top of her class. She did not want to continue school. Her father was adamant and did not want his daughter to continue school. He is a farm labor worker. Our Trustees talked to him, as well as our school advisor in the U.S. We insisted, and finally they gave in. She finished 12th grade science and went to obtain her Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Chemistry and is doing well.
There is another student who went to our school and we helped him to go to college. He now works for a pharmaceutical company and earns a salary of over 70,000 rupees a year.
We helped another girl (MR) to finish an Electrical Engineering degree and she now works as Engineer. We provided financial support to other two students for colleges, who ultimately finished their colleges with Gold Medals, one (JB) with two Gold Medals.
There are many such stories where our work for these students has become blessings for them and their families. Many of these students would not have gone to science schools if we did not provide the affordable opportunity right where they live. These students and their parents appreciate the opportunity and encouragement they received to study further.
